The Impreza WRX has the soul of a sports car, but the body of a sedan (or wagon). Soon thereafter, the WRX made its way onto the showrooms of Europe and Australia. It wasn’t until 2002 that North America got a taste of the WRX’s style and speed. Though it took ten years to make it to the U.S., the 2006-2007 Golden Icon Award was presented to the Subaru Impreza WRX for “best sedan” on the market, a mighty feat for any vehicle. When the Impreza WRX showed up on American soil, buyers were hesitant. Not many sedans are marketed as a factory-made performance sedan. Most of the street machines seen on the road have a significant number of after-market upgrades, like body kits, ambient lighting, dual exhaust, and tubochargers.

SUV that floats like a butterfly and flies like the wind. Forester has all the accoutrements of a class-leading SUV combined with the road manners of a fine European road car. Sitting tall and handsome, the Forester is at home in the city and at the campsite.

An integral member of the Subaru dynasty is the Subaru Outback, now ubiquitous to the morning commute. The Subaru Outback is the answer so many of the transportation needs of the modern American family. A low center of gravity coupled with a flawless all-wheel-drive feature makes the Outback a tenacious go-anywhere recreation vehicle. With increased interior dimensions, the Subaru Outback is all that and more.

The legacy of Subaru continues to grow with engineering and design accomplishments such as the new B9 Tribeca. Subaru has introduced a stylish yet practical mid-size SUV that will bring all the boys to the yard. With the most up-to-date seat belt tensioners and side-curtain airbags, Tribeca will cradle your family in an environment in which they can really feel safe.

A new special-edition model has been added to the UK range of the Subaru Forester. Based on the XC variant with the 147HP 2.0-liter boxer diesel engine and limited to 150 units, the Forester SureTrak gets a bevy of extra equipment including rear privacy glass, full leather interior, parking sensors, electric folding door mirrors, front and rear underguards, a foldable, protective cargo tray, a re-designed instrument cluster as well as suspension upgrades.

Subaru has announced U.S. pricing for its 2010 model year Impreza range that remains unchanged for the most part. Prices start at the same level as the subtly revised 2009MY Impreza, with a base MSRP for both the 170hp 2.5i sedan and five-door hatchback models of $17,495 (excluding destination and delivery fees). However, the Japanese automaker lowered the base price for the Impreza 2.5i Premium to $18,495, or $1,000 less than the 2009 model.

The company said that the Impreza 2.5i, 2.5GT and Outback Sport models receive a new grille (no photos were released) while the company also introduced a new exterior color (Camellia Red Pearl) for the 224HP 2.5i & 2.5GT models and a new Paprika Red Pearl/Steel Silver Metallic for the Outback.

2.5i Wagon, 2.5i Limited Sedan, 2.5 XT Limited Wagon and 3.0 R L.L. Bean sedan and wagon. All models include a MP3/WMA capable stereo with CD player. The soft touch dash and door surfaces give an upscale look and feel not often found in this class of vehicle. The Outback has continued throughout the years to be a viable alternative to cross over vehicles and larger SUV’s for those who need cargo and passenger space but want a vehicle that delivers a sport car driving experience. Available turbocharged engines, an exemplary list of standard safety features and high quality materials throughout make this car a strong performer, especially on snow covered roads. With all that it offers, the Legacy has earned its reputation of being one of the legendary vehicles of its time in the automotive industry.

Unlike previous generations, the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX is no longer designed and marketed only to race car enthusiasts and has now been toned down a bit to be more acceptable to a larger and more mainstream marketplace without entirely losing the sport car look and feel. The result is an overall better car that is more comfortable and refined with increased access and room for passengers and cargo. Additional Impreza models include the base model 2.5i, Outback Sport and the high performance WRX STI.

WRX is the top of the line Impreza and is equipped with a fuel efficient 2.5 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that delivers 224 horsepower to all four wheels via a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission with over ride capabilities that allow for manual shifting when desired. Available as either a 4 door sedan or a 5 door hatchback, there is more than ample passenger room for a small car in both the front and back and a relatively large amount of cargo space.

The sedan and hatchback both come equipped with a fairly admirable amount of options, including eye appealing 10 spoke 17 inch aluminum alloy wheels, two tone exterior, sport tuned suspension, heated exterior mirrors, heated sport designed front seats with premium cloth upholstery, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, automatic climate control, and a sharp looking luminescent instrument panel. In typical Subaru fashion, all components and materials are high quality. If you want more features, a premium option package is available to add sport features such as fog lights, rear spoiler and an outstanding premium audio system with steering wheel mounted audio controls. A satellite radio and navigation system options package is also available.
